The Hay Retainer is made with 1-1/4" and 1/2" .065 round tube steel.  It is durable, light-weight and can be moved from any existing round bale feeder to another in a few short minutes. The Hay Retainer comes in 3 separate welded sections which must be bolted together.  Three quick release fastening chains accompany the insert and are designed to stabilize the insert while mounted on a round bale feeder. This prevents any livestock from overturning it.  Assembly is required in the 3 bolted locations.  The Hay Retainer comes in International Red.
